Nope, not smoking, taking drugs or perhaps drowning myself with alcohol...

Bernardine Kennedy:

Val McDermid:
The Distant Echo

I would say, i was really very impressed with my first pick on Val McDermid thriller novels. The Distant Echo is not only something that lives up to it's genre, it totally makes me not wanna stop reading it. Such a page turner, i would say it's definitely the best novel i've read so far. Though i have a waiting list of 6 books from 6 different author...

Val McDermid sure knows how to execute the right 'ingredients' to make such a novel with great suspense.
